The Moss Mansion Historic House Museum captures early turn-of-the-century life of the Preston Boyd Moss family. The mansion is a 1903 red sandstone structure. Visitors will see original draperies, fixtures, furniture, Persian carpets and artifacts during their guided one-hour tour. Seasonal exhibits are featured. This home is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It was designed by the famous American architect Henry Janeway Hardenbergh who also designed the original Waldorf-Astoria, Plaza Hotels, Williard Hotel, and Copely Hotel.
