South Pointe Park is at the southernmost point of South Beach. The makeover of the 17 ½-acre park includes 20-foot-wide walkways lined with Florida limestone running the length of Government Cut; the restoration of natural sand dunes next to a pathway made of crushed shells; and an ocean-themed children’s playground with motion-actived water sprays.
