Blanco, TX, 78606 US / TX
Built in Blanco in 1886, this Second French Empire style historic county courthouse was only utilized as a county courthouse four years, as an election in 1890 moved the Blanco County seat to Johnson City. The Old Blanco Courthouse now serves as a museum and events venue. "The beautiful old courtroom is a popular site for weddings, receptions, rehearsal dinners, seminars, meetings, movie shoots, and other special events in the Texas Hill Country. A fully-equipped kitchen is available for courthouse activities. The grounds are used for a variety of outdoor events. Outdoor electrical hookups are available for activities on the grounds. Individuals and organizations may reserve the courthouse and/or grounds with rental by day or by hour."
