Location Description

This is a stone bank building that was built in 1921. It is located right across the street from the court house in Huntington. It is in very good condition. The basement has original antique safes. The main floor has more modern safes. The first and second floors were used as a bank and office space until December 2008, however, the third floor has been largely untouched since the 1930's. It is in need of remodeling, however, the floor has the 1930's type of feel with office doors still present for Congressman Rough of the era, as well as, the train company of the time. The walls also have small safes in each room. The view from the windows of the building is a very small town but an active urban setting with images of the train tracks and different industrial and commercial buildings in view. It is very much the feeling of an office that you would find in an old detective movie.
