Once home to George J. and Mary Stegmaier, this majestic tan brick colonial mansion has graced the second block of South Franklin Street since 1907. It was designed by architects Knapp & Bosworth and cost about $1 million to construct. In 1943 the Stegmaier's children presented the home to the American Red Cross in memory of their mother. The mansion is now privately owned and available as a location for film, TV, photography, etc.
