Location Description

Originally a private residence, the mansion was built in the Queen Anne Chateauesque style in 1893 by Daniel O'Rorke. The building has highlight corners, arches, walls & steeply pitched hip or gable roofs with dormers and tall elaborate chimneys. Other noteworthy features include stained glass & beveled windows as well as carved French doors. The first floor has been kept (as much as possible) to the original feel of a Victorian home. The various rooms all have a unique feel and several period fire places. Today it enhances the community as a unique children's museum.
