The barns, bridges, houses and cabins on the Golden Oak Ranch might all look and feel like places you would find in middle America, but a director’s vision—and the creative freedom of the Ranch—allows these places to be any place at any time. If the script call for pyrotechnics, we welcome you to execute them here; just return things to their original condition when you’re done. The Ranch’s idyllic location allows great production freedom; it is secluded without being isolated or difficult to get to. Also, the abundance of water makes permit acquisition for special effects easier. Movie ranch with over 800 acres of land. It includes the following standing sets bridge, wildlife, lakes, ponds, waterfall, lagoon, water tank, farmhouse, church, park, hotel, general store, trading post. There are surrounding woodlands with old growth, oak, evergreen, and deciduous trees. There are abandoned wood buildings and ruins, above-ground water tower/tank, covered wood bridge for vehicle traffic, open terrain with hills, meadows, and grasslands. There are lakeside chalet cabins with ceiling height of 8'-10', wood floors, unfinished walls, porch and surrounding vegetation. The horse ranch has 50-100 acres with lake, pond, water tank, barn, bunkhouse, unpaved roads, farmhouse, ranch house, corral, storage building, and fencing.
