Perfect for thrillers, dramas, biographies and other genre. The charming town of Fairplay is historical with the mining, trains, gold panning and wild burros, which is only minutes away from the Valley of the Sun property-Cabin del Sol. Nearby fishing spots being Fairplay Beach/Lake, Montgomery Reservoir, Alma Lake, and the S. Platte River. Avoid the crazy Highway I-70 and have no traffic on the scenic Hwy. 285 and then Hwy. 9. Travel through the Great Divide from Denver (2 hr commute to cabin). Everything you need it is located in the town and at the cabin. Enjoy cocktails and dining on the patio during the late Spring-Fall months on a full set of furniture while watching moose, foxes, deer and other wildlife cruise about Pike's National Forest. We have invested in nice decor, linen, and comfortable furnishings. The place accommodates 10 total. There is a full spice cabinet, pantry items and a kitchen that is completely stocked with all culinary tools needed. We supply all hygiene products, so you only have to come with your duffle bag, sports gear and whatever you need for the film production. The cabin is rented for pleasure on a short term vacation basis and we have opened it up to the film industry to use as a location for movies at the request of many film makers.
