Stinson Beach is located at 37°54'02?N 122°38'40?W,[3] between Bolinas and Muir Beach with a 35-minute drive from the Golden Gate Bridge. The beach is one of the sandiest and cleanest of beaches perfect for photo stills and high/low tides. Sand dunes at one end and boulders at another end. Parking lots within easy walking distance. The northern end of the beach (Upton Beach) is permit-available through the County of Marin while the southern end is part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area (GGNRA).
