The historic Patriots Bend farm, a.k.a. Burner-Gearing Farm, is over 90 pristine acres situated at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains with a full linear mile on the Shenandoah River given it encompasses the fourth bend of the famous 'Seven Bends' of the Shenandoah River. Listed on both the Virginia Landmarks Register and the National Register of Historic Properties, the property dates back to the 1700s and was the site of Revolutionary War mustering and Civil War skirmishes. A cemetery on the property has numerous headstones from the 1800s and a historic barn dates back to the early 1900s. The property has about 45 acres of old hardwood groves and 45 acres of pastureland. Multiple points of river access affords amazing fishing and boating opportunities. Given the property's proximity to George Washington National Forest, most vantage points are void of any other structures or traffic. It is a secluded jewel in the historic Shenandoah Valley.
