Rose Hill is on a hill overlooking the Rappahannock Valley and is located in Caroline County. The historic property dates to 1666 and consists of 350 acres of forest and farm land where the owners raise belted Galloway cows. There are numerous outbuildings including guest house and historic barns as well as a dovecote designed by Thomas Jefferson in 1779. The grounds include an historic house, formal gardens, historic kitchen house, barns. The house was featured in June 2013 of Architectural Digest.
