This is the PELICAN WATCH (N) end of Folly Beach Co Park on the entrance end. Public beach must pay very nominal fee and pass through gate where there's plenty of parking. Huge parking lot almost half mile long fronting ocean and march/rivers. Beach area is about a mile long, comes to the South Point of Folly Island, then wraps around an inlet to the Folly River behind.
