The Miles Independent School District consists of a kindergarten, elementary, junior high and high school. There are around 400-plus students total. The campus takes in
several blocks along West 10th Street and Robinson Street. There is an administration building, classrooms, playgrounds, an auditorium, cafeteria, tennis courts, a football field, baseball and softball fields, an Agriculture Education building, a bus barn and a gymnasium. Three of the oldest buildings on campus are a gymnasium that is now used for physical education classes. This dates from the 1940's. The former Home Economics building was constructed in the 1960's and is now the consumer education department. The band hall used to be the lunchroom (cafeteria) and was built in the 1940's. The other buildings date from the mid-1980's and early 2000's. The school year starts in early September and ends in late May.
