The Central Library of the Indianapolis-Marion County Public Library system is a stunning building that serves as the northern anchor of the American Legion Mall. The 1917 historic Cret building is anchored to the new six-story glass and steel tower by a four-story Atrium that serves as the hub of the library. The old and the new blend seamlessly, and provide unique meeting and event spaces, as well as a sweeping view of the Indianapolis skyline from the sixth floor.
