Godwin House (circa 1897) is the first house of the North Roland Park neighborhood, designed by George Franklin Barber. This newly restored Victorian has an iconic turret and a wraparound porch. A beautiful stained glass triptych reputed to be a Tiffany is the centerpiece of the house; it has seven fireplaces, four of which have the original wrought iron coal-burning inserts. In the dining room, a 12-foot Horner table with dramatic carved griffins sits underneath a chandelier from a 17th-century Belgian monastery. The music room features a crystal chandelier and a fully restored 1920s Steinway. Godwin House is reportedly the most photographed house in Baltimore.
