Location Description

Originally built in 1854 as the Garrett-Jacobs Mansion. Famous architect Stanford White build the first two brownstone homes; later architect John Russell Pope built the third house and all three were combined into the Mansion property. The mansion features stained English Oak wall panels, dramatic staircase with tiffany skylight, ballroom, library, and grand foyer. It is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
