Ten miles south of Toccoa, off of the new Currahee Parkway, historic Martin features many beautiful and quaint homes like the Yow-Dean House, the old Martin Institute, the Walters-Alexander House, and the Stovall House. Martin’s homes were most recently featured in the coveted 2017 Spring Ramble, hosted by the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation and Downtown Martin served as the filming location for the recent Legend of Five-Mile Cave. Martin is a National Register Historic District.
