Location Description

Victory Park is located along the Juniata River in the Borough of Lewistown. There are two access points- one across from the Valero Gas Station (51 S. Juniata St.) and the other is on River Access Road, across from Phoenix Rehab (71 N. Juniata St.). Victory Park was dedicated to all war veterans in 1919 and rededicated in 1996. Located along the shore of the Juniata River, the park has a single gravel path lined with benches. The path is also lined with vintage style street lamps and Zelkova trees. It’s beautiful in every season but the gold leaves on the trees in the fall are a show stopper. Also in the park is a veterans’ memorial that’s frequently used as a stage for live performances.
