***This location is within the Secondary Studio Zone.*** Shoot My Place is a unique high desert film studio located in the foothills of Palmdale California, in pristine Hunt Canyon. Our majestic location has a back drop of beautiful Mt Emma, and we overlook the vast Mojave Desert with the Antelope Valley just down below us. We are at an elevation of 3500 plus feet so we get all the seasons, including some snow making days if needed. Our high desert studio location offers to you many different types of film or print friendly sets for your project needs. We have almost 25 acres of many different types of sets and desert roads for you to work with. We have doubled for Mexico, Iraq, Iran, Israel, Afghanistan, Egypt, and the African desert. We have to offer your project a large selection of sets that are dressed and ready to shoot, also a large selection of props, and the connections to the resources you may need for your project. We are also special effects and stunt friendly with stunt equipment on set for rent. Our Village/Compounds have a Mexican or Middle East look/feel. Our horse ranch is complete with the animals in place. We have a small junkyard, work shop, metal barn, small country house, grass lawn, pine trees, coach type motor home, and lot's of parking. We are also open to any new set construction so ask about our set building incentives. If your project is shooting on a California local film incentive, you are entitled an additional 5% tax rebate by shooting your project here at our location! We are in the "Extended Studio Zone" for the crafts. We also have been granted by SAG/DGA, zone waivers when most productions ask for it. We are 5.24 miles out of the TMZ zone! We can provide your production 24/7 Security if requested and we are very private! There are many 24/7 services and local support business's that are very close by! We are freeway close too! You will be responsible for your own electricity, bathrooms and trash removal. We have been serving the entertainment industry for over 25 years now and counting!
