The floor area comprises 28,000 square feet (125 by 225 feet) of hardwood flooring. Seating was upgraded in 1995 and a retractable system (2,482 seats) is used for basketball games and similar events. Pauley Pavilion currently has three large locker rooms plus a smaller locker room for officials and three meeting rooms on-site. Complete concession facilities on the floor and concourse levels are available, along with restroom facilities for men and women on both levels. Additional areas for fan support or food service are available along the walkway on the outside the Pavilion. A first aid station is included in the Pavilion and UCLA's sports medicine facilities are located adjacent to the Pavilion. A five-window ticket sales or pick- up facility is located inside the Pavilion and the UCLA Central Ticket Office is located adjacent to the venue. Extensive indoor and/or outdoor hospitality or meeting spaces adjacent to the Pavilion can also be arranged at the James West Alumni Center. Lighting is available at acceptable levels for television and Pauley Pavilion is equipped with an excellent sound system for interior and exterior public address. A full-service scoreboard with video and matrix-board capabilities is installed over the center-court area.
