Georgetown is known as the “Silver Queen of the Rockies,” and was one of the last bastions of civilization before encountering the Continental Divide. You will find abundant and well-preserved examples of buildings and mining structures from the Colorado Silver Boom. Today, Georgetown is a delightful Victorian village that offers quaint shops, historical museums, dignified churches, cozy restaurants, and welcoming bars.
