The Barron Collier Bridge carries two lanes of U.S. Hwy 41 northbound over the Peace River as it enters Charlotte Harbor. The nearly identical southbound Gilchrist Bridge runs parallel. Both bridges are one mile long and carry pedestrian walkways. The bridges are 45 feet above water level at their highest points.
