Although in a well-developed suburban area of the Gold Coast, Tallebudgera Beach & Creek feel as though it is an island oasis. Crystal blue sandy lagoons, dense rich tropical forest and wide stretches of sandy beaches are what attract the locals to this pristine watery playground.
The area is very popular with locals for surf, paddling, canoeing and other water sports as the area is away from the main tourist precincts of the Gold Coast. The sea mouth of the Tallebudgera Creek is sheltered by the Burleigh National Park Headland on the north shore and a man-made rock wall on the southern shore, providing shallow sandy lagoons that are perfect for playing in.
Large stretch of beach leading to the Tallebudgera Creek Sea-mouth at the northern end (sea side, smaller beaches creek side all with easy access).
Located approximately 32.5km (20 miles / 30 mins) from Village Roadshow Studios. The nearest airport is Gold Coast, Coolangatta Airport (OOL). The closest POH, Gold Coast City, is 14.8km (9 miles / 25 mins) away.
