Brady's Lake is a trout fishing village on the shores of a lake used for storage of water for Tasmania's Hydroelectric power generation. There is also an international canoe and kayak course running between the Woodwards Canal storage on one side of the Lyell Highway to Brady's lake on the other. The flow through the kayak course is controlled by Hydro Tasmania.
