CL Ranch was established in 1887 on the banks of the Jumping Pound Creek west of Calgary in Alberta's beautiful Rocky Mountain foothills. The Copithorne family has been in the cattle business for over 100 years, and are committed to producing the highest quality uniform beef product. CL Ranch is home to one of Calgary's most impressive western backlots, used exclusively for filming. There are additional sets located throughout the property including a number of idyllic and picturesque cabins, farmhouses, barns, and a standalone diner. Gravel roads with beautiful rolling hills, treelines, a creekbed, pond, and other magnificent landscapes populate the property.
