The Calgary Stampede is an annual rodeo, exhibition, and festival held every July in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The Stampede Grounds hosts a multitude of events throughout the year at one of their many facilities. These facilities include a concert hall/event centre (Big Four), a rodeo arena, with seating for 17,000 attendees, and standing room for an additional 8,000 (Stampede Grandstand), horse pens/chutes and venue hall (Agrium), two hockey arenas (Corral and Saddledome), a multi-event complex (BMO Centre), and many more buildings, warehouses, and spaces. Located a stones throw from the Calgary downtown core, and surrounded by easy and convenient to shoot roads/parking lots, the Calgary Stampede Grounds is a film-friendly location.
