All enquiries should come through to Nottingham Conferences directly – [email protected] or 0115 7486100" Background: • Based in the heart of the UK, King's Meadow Campus was acquired by the University of Nottingham in 2005 and accommodates many of the University’s internal departments as well as two studio spaces, Studio 7 & 11. • From 1983 until 2005, the building was originally home to the ITV studio complex called "East Midlands Television Centre" and later "Carlton Studios". • During the 1980/90’s, iconic productions such as The Price is Right, Family Fortunes, Supermarket Sweep, Celebrity Square and Bullseye were all filmed here. Between 2001 and 2003, Crossroads was filmed here too. • These studio spaces present a huge contrast to the rest of the Nottingham Conferences’ offering which is more traditionally located within teaching buildings, halls of residence and sport centres across the University’s 3 main campuses.
