Built in 1872, this historic 5500 square foot home is filled with original architectural details along with updated and custom features. Recently converted to a luxury Inn (Bed & Breakfast) with 5 uniquely decorated guest rooms. The downstairs consists of a Parlor, large Dining Room, 2 soapstone fireplaces, and a custom built bar crafted out of a 1885 Decker Brothers Box Piano.
The wrap around front porch overlooks the Susquehanna River. The large, open backyard backs up to 2 period style barns and hosts an inviting fire pit next to the Wagon Wheel Sculptor.
The home is located in the center of Owego’s Historic District, the largest historic district in New York State. The Village is a piece of preserved “Americana” and is considered the “Gateway to the Finger Lakes” Wine Country.
Each of the 5 bedrooms are uniquely decorated with a modern flair. The windows have original unpainted interior shutters. All of the floors and woodwork are original to the home.
The Inn can accommodate production teams. We are flexible with the staging and are willing to rearrange the home to meet filming needs.
