The Cutting Room is NYC's legendary rock club, dinner theater & event space. For nearly 25 years, TCR has hosted such luminaries as Joan Rivers, John Mayer, Lady Gaga, Sting, Sheryl Crow and David Bowie, Lizzo, Billy Joel, Dave Chappelle and many more.
The Cutting Room offers an amazing location for film, television and video shoots. Previous productions that have filmed at TCR include Weiden+Kennedy (Bud Light), ABC News, and PBS (Finding Your Roots.) The space features dramatic décor and a top-notch sound system. High speed fiber and a 5-camera video system are available for streaming.
Created by original owner Steve Walter (Berklee Alumnus) and co-owner Chris Noth (Sex and the City, Law & Order, The Good Wife), The Cutting Room continues the tradition of extraordinary performances and special moments, with a fresh new take on what a rock club & lounge should feel like. We are proud - and honored - to offer New York City a place to watch classy shows in a beautiful setting.
