Whispering Woods is a 1970’s Shag Pad located in the epicenter of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex in Irving, Texas. The house was designed by Kelly Oliver who was Frank Lloyd Wrights chief engineer. It is, by all accounts, a Frank Lloyd Wright house in it’s architecure, materials and sense of space. The total home is a little under 7000 sf with a 3500 sf courtyard complete with a geometric pool and lush landscaping. It sits on 2 very wooded private acres in a very unassuming part of the city.
