Survival Systems USA located in Groton Connecticut offers the Northeastern Film and Television industry the only indoor pool with a full theater and 10,000-lb man lift rated overhead crane capable of traversing the full length of the production area. The facility features a flat bottom fresh water 30' x 30' x 13' deep square well tank and a 10' x 30' x 4' deep shallow end. The water is heated to 85 degrees with clarity maintained by 1,000-lbs of sand filtration. Immediately around the pool is over 2,000 sqft of deck and production space with an additional 3,000 sqft of offstage area including green rooms, dressing rooms complete with restrooms, lockers and showers, a cross over, multiple elevated platforms, and a temperature controlled shop. All surrounded by acres of onsite parking and staging area suitable for semi-trailer trucks, RVs, catering trucks, transport, and portable production facilities.
