Location Description

This 10,000 square foot Tudor Home is surrounded by meadows and woods and sits atop a hill overlooking a four-acre lake to the west and the Sandusky River to the east. Built in the early 1920’s, this home is in original condition and is exquisitely maintained. The house features four floors including: Great Hall, Library, Formal Dining Room, Solarium, Large Kitchen with huge pantry and an authentic built-in wall refrigerator, Dark Room, and a Ballroom Each room is a masterpiece with hand-carved, wood paneling, molded plaster crafted by European artisans, and leaded glass windows with decorative inserts unique to each room. The home was built to incorporate features imported from Europe -- Bronze and Dresden Porcelain chandeliers from Germany, a Tiffany Chandelier, hand-painted glass doors from a Chateau in France, and Italian marble. One of the most incredible jewels of the house is the built-in Skinner pipe organ, one of only 13 left in private residences across the country.
