Manakin Sabot, VA, 23103 US / VA
2000 acre farm in Goochland. You will see photos of an authentic tavern on the property built in 1810 that was a stopping point between Richmond and Charlottesville. The inside has log cabin walls and everything in there is untouched and original except a tiny kitchen put in in the 60's and a bath. There is a wide variety of terrain and landscape on this property- woods, fields, ponds, and various outbuildings, some are of the period. Included are some photos of the main house, which is not technically of the period for this film, but was made from actual period bricks and design.
