500+ acre historic farm with Greek-revival main house dating from 1770s. In same family since 1820s. Main house has 10 bedrooms, formal Dining Room, Library, Parlour, covered front and back porches. Five working fireplaces in downstairs common rooms, four in upstairs bedrooms. Not renovated. Worn oriental rugs, faded silk curtains, gilt-framed family portraits. Once-formal gardens are now in state of neglect. Feeling of genteel decay. Outbuildings include tenant houses, smoke house, spring house, school house.
