Location Description

Charles and Mary Moore built the manor house where they raised their 10 children in 1765. The family cemetery is on the property and is the resting place of at least 146 people including the Moores; their daughter & Revolutionary heroine “Kate” Barry; other friends and family; Revolutionary War soldiers; and, perhaps, some of the enslaved men and women who worked on the Plantation. Days and Hours of Operation: T-F 11am-5pm April-Oct.; Sa 11am-5pm, Su 2-5pm year round. Tours begin on the hour.
