Location Description

Built in the 1790s by General Thomas Pinckney, 14 George Street remained a private residence until 1879, when it was purchased by the City. Spoleto Festival USA, established in 1977, moved to its current home (14 George Street) in 1988. Renovations, through the assistance of the Murray Family among others, began in the early 2000s to transform the property into what it is today.
