Amelia Earhart Park is a large, beautiful area nestled in the midst of highways, and a bustling community. The park offers many traditional park features, including wide open spaces, pavilions for parties, and playgrounds with up-to-date equipment appropriate for very small up to school aged children. Unique to this park is the Bill Graham Farm Village. This re-created pioneer farm village has a general store, where you can purchase popcorn, ice cream, and sodas; a demonstration shed where you can see horse-shoeing, cow milking, and sheep shearing (we recommend you call for a schedule); and a petting zoo with sheep, goats, pigs, horses, geese, and chickens. The park offers 6 1/2 miles of mountain bike trails for children ages 8 and over. There are beginning, intermediate and advanced trails. The park also has a soccer complex that features four lighted soccer fields with a field house, restrooms and concession.
