Tantra Coffeehouse

US / Texas
Listed By: Texas Film Commission
Location ID: #030-10095403
Tantra is located in a 1920s style 3 story home in downtown San Marcos. This space was home to a General originally, then a hair salon, several other businesses, and most recently, our coffeeshop (since 2005). We currently host live music almost every night of the week and function as a full service restaurant, coffee shop, and bar. All in all 217 W Hopkins has been a staple in the San Marcos community since its creation. Just about everything is original on the inside. Fresh cedar and white oak floors, original siting, walls, and spirits. Currently we are renovating the outside structure (fencing, deck, stage, etc). The inside has been freshly painting, floors have been sanded and stained. Some parts like the upstairs office (Rumored to be a kids room) and the basement (very, very rare in Texas) have not been renovated if that fits your style. Click here for additional info.
