Originally a one story, flat gravel roofed fish camp, this 1950's home was transformed into a tropical retreat consisting of a spacious master suite with wrap-around porches overlooking beautiful Lake Butler. Now a Key-West style cottage, the lower level maintains the footprint of the original home where the kitchen and dining area, two bedrooms, and bathroom were completely remodeled. Most of the exposed tongue and groove pine ceilings and roof rafters from the original home were painted to reveal more of a tropical theme. The interior character still reflects a fish camp style.
