Location Description
Edible Education Experience (EEE) operates the Emeril Lagasse Foundation Kitchen House & Culinary Garden. We are the nation’s first community teaching kitchen that: features an on-site Culinary Garden connects with local schools, their faculty and students partners with an area children’s hospital develops relationships with locally and nationally recognized chefs EEE integrates hands-on garden and culinary experiences with school and life-skills curricula. This teaches students how their food choices affect both their health and the environment around them. Our work builds strong community and family connections in the garden and at the table. We aim for individuals to replicate their experience at EEE in their own homes by: growing their own food cooking affordable and nutritious meals, and fostering a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
