Location Description

The Elms was built in 1836 by Absalom and Emma Hall Jackson. The 6000 square foot home operated as a cotton plantation for 100 years and the original plantation covered 16,000 acres. Located on a very old road lined with enormous trees covered with spanish moss. The Elms has a large spacious dining room, parlor, grand sun room and gourmet kitchen and a veranda that overlooks the front drive. The grounds are covered with large moss covered trees and acres of woods. The Elms is also available to host weddings, parties,receptions for most all occassions. Located 15 minutes from downtown Montgomery.
