Located in northern central Pennsylvania’s Union & Northumberland counties, Shikellamy State Park is comprised of 132 acres. Uniquely, the park is divided into two sections as it is situated at the confluence of the Susquehanna River & the West Branch Susquehanna River. One section, on a bluff on the western bank of the river, features the 78 acre Shikellamy overlook and the other has a 54 acre marina on the southern end of Packer Island as its' focal point. Packer Island lies between the town’s of Sunbury & Northumberland at the confluence of the Susquehanna River branches.
