Yellow Breeches Creek arises on the northwestern side of South Mountain, in the Michaux State Forest. It meanders though the hills and valleys of Cumberland County, passing through many towns along the way including Mount Holly Springs in western Cumberland County and New Cumberland in eastern Cumberland County.
