Lords Creek Lodge is a Craftsman inspired mountain home overlooking a 10 acre lake. An award-winning architect designed the house and its windows, decks and terraces to take advantage of the lake and forest views. The 6000 square foot home has a rustic but refined feel, with a two story, timber-frame ceilinged great room, stone fireplaces & extensive interior woodwork. The house was built in 2009 and is located on 320 private acres. Most of the property is heavily forested with evergreens and hardwoods, and drivable trails provide access to the interior. There are several cleared areas with meadows and long vistas. The lake is fed by Lords Creek and then empties over a dam and continues down a deep ravine in a series of waterfalls through a rocky, hilly forest. The property is adjacent to the scenic Upper Delaware river and very close to several restaurants & inns in Lackawaxen & Greeley. It is about 30 minutes from Milford to the east & Lake Wallenpaupack to the west and two hours from NYC.
