Whittle School & Studios is the first truly global, modern school for children in Pre-K3 through 12th Grade. We offer a global education across a network of modern, thoughtfully designed campuses around the world; a carefully developed progressive curriculum rooted in interdisciplinary and experiential learning; and an unequaled advising system to provide a personalized education. Immersed in a second language, students learn to develop both their cultural and language proficiency to be ready for college and the workforce of the future. Designed by world-renowned architect Renzo Piano, our campus offers an inspiring environment for making, sharing, and growing -- places where students can pursue their passions and achieve their highest potential. One of the building’s most striking features, five soaring glass-enclosed courtyards, have been transformed into vibrant student commons. These serve as the heart of the day-to-day activities of the school, where students meet their friends for lunch, collaborate on large projects, hold a club meeting, or even screen a film. Whittle School & Studios offers numerous spaces for rent -- hold your classes or meetings in our light-filled classrooms; host a gala or conference in one of our soaring, glass-enclosed courtyards; or stage a performance in one of our many performance spaces. Standard dormitory rooms are also available during the summer months when school is not in session. Located just a block from the Van Ness/UDC Metro stop, ample street parking is also available.
