Curzon Hall Historically built with love, from a husband to his wife. This castle is Sydney’s most luxurious residence. Curzon Hall was built in 1893 as a private residence for a Sydney businessman, Harry Smith, and his wife Isabella Curzon Webb, a family member of Lord Curzon, viceroy of India at that time. In 1922 Curzon Hall was purchased by the Vincentian Fathers to be used as a seminary. During their occupancy, a beautiful chapel was built adjacent to the mansion. The chapel features an ornate ceiling, which was completed in 1930. Now run as a venue for weddings, conferences and corporate functions, it sits in 3 acres of gardens and has 6 function rooms.
