Sydney’s popular and iconic Red Rattler is available to productions for filming. Currently resides Flemington Maintenance Centre Recently restored to full operating condition by Historic Electric Traction Society and Transport Heritage NSW The Red Rattler is able to run on our Sydney tracks The suburban trains were in operation between 1920’s and 1990’s The passenger, single-deck vintage electric Red Rattlers Trains existed in Sydney, Melbourne and even New York! Known as part of the vintage Set F1 but affectionately known by locals as the Red Rattler due to their red brick colour and the ‘rattle’ sound in their window frames. Up to four carriages available.
