Location Description
Tullimbar Village is located in the Illawarra region of New South Wales, approximately 100 kms (62 miles) from Sydney CBD and 20 km (12.5 miles) south of Wollongong. It is situated east of Macquarie Pass National Park and west of Albion Park. It has rural views of the Illawarra escarpment and mountain forests - subtropical rainforests that include large fig trees, cabbage tree palms and river oaks along the creeks and rivers. Tributaries of the Macquarie Rivulet, Hazelton and Cooback Creeks pass through Tullimbar Village. Lake Illawarra and the beaches of Shellharbour lie a few kilometers to the east of Tullimbar Village.
