Ipswich General Cemetery is a historic monumental cemetery with historical significance. The first recorded burial took place in this cemetery on 20 July 1868 - but burials are known to have occurred as early as 1842. There are large trees and covered areas around the site and public toilets are available. The Cemetery is divided into sections for each religion. There are Columbarium walls and various sizes/styles of graves. Permission for filming at Ipswich General Cemetery is through Ipswich City Council and requires a Film Licence application as well as a Commercial Use of Cemeteries Licence Application which can be found here: https://www.ipswich.qld.gov.au/business/film_ipswich Photographs were taken between 0700-1200hrs.
