Survival Systems Training Limited (SSTL), the largest of its kind in North America, creates and delivers safety, survival and rescue training programs for the military, aviation, marine, and industrial sectors. SSTL’s environmental pool facilities are available for the screen industry to create realistic marine and underwater scenes for your next production. SSTL consists of a 82’(L) x 46’(W) x 16’(D) uniform depth pool with LED lighting, environmental effects machines, jump platforms, offices, support and training facilities, a heated Quonset hut, and more. The main property and general layout allows for easy access to buildings and ample parking for multiple vehicles and trucks. The training technologies provide enhanced real-world effects in a controlled environment. The pool walls and bottom are painted dark blue to simulate depth and allow for film use. Additional features include wind, rain, fog, wave patterns and thunder/lightning effects.
